I’ve had a few requests for posts lately from friends on how to “go green” on a budget.
OK, it was from one friend, but who’s counting. Plus, she has great intentions and is supporting a family of five on one income. So it’s a valid request and one I think we can all benefit from, regardless of our income or the size of our family.
Speaking of, I’ve had a sick child for the last week. So although I’ve started compiling a list of green changes I’ve learned over the years and incorporated into my own life, I have been more preoccupied with calming a cranky toddler than flushing out ideas.
Plus, publishing them all at once would kill the anticipation. And future blog posts for the weeks I’m preoccupied with God knows what.
But all my suggestions take budget into account, and all will make a positive difference in the health of your body and our environment. There’s ultimately going to be quite a list to reference at your convenience, so I’ve set it up as its own page here: http://soulicious.net/more-green-for-less/
I’ll give you a hint of one of those to hit the list next: it includes how to be green about cleaning-up vomit from sick child.
